When people find out I founded a non profit organization that supports the troops, the first question is....do you have a family member in the military? My answer has always been...no, I just support the troops. Now I guess I am going to have to change my answer as my nephew just told me he is joining the Navy and will probably go to boot camp next month. I am proud of him, he will make a great Sailor.

OHH celebrated their 1 year birthday today. It doesn't seem like it has been a year since we were incorporated.
I read in the newspaper that some Marines were sent up to Lemoore NAS from Camp Pendleton to help fight the many wildfires that are burning in CA. About 3 days ago I met 4 men and talked to them, then yesterday I met them again and this time they told me they are Marines. I had the honor to meet 4 of the Marines that are fighting CA's fires :) They are all very nice men and I had fun talking to them. They will be here for another week then will go home.
I gave them one of OHH's business cards. One of the Marines said he wrote to supporters when he was in Iraq, I think he said he has been there 2 or 3 times.
